Frequently Asked Questions:

Are there scripts that you will not consider

There's not really any scripts that we will not consider, but we may be particularly interested in finding particular works that closely match our ambitions.

Why have you not taken on my script

There are a host of reasons why we may choose not to pursue a script.

This may be because our books are full or even that we have another project quite similar.

But most often, it comes down to commercial viability. Just like clothes, storytelling has a fashion, and we want to take on projects that people are likely to see.

Am I protected by copyright?

Yes. In the United Kingdom (where we are based), writers are automatically protected under the Copyright, Designs, and Patents Act 1988. This means that we are prohibited by law from making unauthorised copies of your work, and distributing these subsequently. Your ideas, stories and scripts are fully protected, even if we do not pursue them further.
